Taika Kinoshita was born in Hiroshima in 1957. He majored in printmaking at Sokei Academy of Fine Arts & Design and completed printmaking specialized course. He has participated in and won many printmaking competitions in Japan and abroad. He mainly produces woodblock prints with flower motifs, Mount Fuji, and famous places in Japan. He also teaches printmaking to younger artists.
