Hyaku-Monogatari is a ghost-story game in which one hundred lamps are lit, and one lamp is extinguished after each tale.
As the stories continue, the light slowly fades and darkness creeps in.
It was believed that when the hundredth story ended and the final lamp went out, real spirits would appear.

In that deepening darkness, the maid Shirau-me emerges as a faceless ghost, and skeletons begin to dance around her.
The scene is frightening yet strangely alluring, like a haunted dance hall.
It becomes a vivid parade of supernatural beings.

Another highlight is the bold twist in which the historical swordsman Miyamoto Musashi suddenly enters the world of the ghost stories.
A master swordsman confronting monsters creates a unique blend of period drama and supernatural entertainment.

Also striking is the entrance of Princess Kosakabe, who appears from the darkness wearing layered twelve-court robes.
Her beauty mixed with an eerie presence gives her a powerful impact, and her tense confrontation with Musashi adds weight to the story.
