Biography
Masahiko Tsubota (b.1947) The works of this artist are as perfect as perfect can be. As a young student at Osaka University of Art Tsubota enjoyed the tutelage of two masters - Izumi Shigeru and Funai Yutaka, both well-known and respected artists. Funai quickly recognized the talent of his young student and recommended him to Izumi as his printer. With the addition of his own talent, and these two genius teachers Tsubota could not go wrong. Known as the artist who removes everything that is not necessary. In his wonderful works in their perfectly printed form, Tsubota has released pieces that are simple and more expressive.
