COLLECTING CONTEMPORARY JAPANESE ART organized by The Tolman Collection THEN & NOW

2024.04.19(Fri) - 2024.04.21 (Sun)

The Tolman Collection, located in Shiba Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo, has been showcasing contemporary Japanese prints domestically and internationally for 52 years since its establishment. Founded by former US diplomat Norman Tolman, who was an avid collector of contemporary Japanese prints, the gallery has been introducing Japanese beauty to a wide audience overseas ever since. The artists represented by the gallery are now held in esteemed collections in museums worldwide.

Our current exhibition, "THEN & NOW," aims to showcase both well-established artists who have passed away and relatively new artists whose works we have recently begun to handle. We invite you to enjoy Japan's artistry, which we proudly share with the world.
