Décor! – Tokyo American Club2022.04.10(Sun) - 2022.04.11 (Mon)
Dear Clients of The Tolman Collection
Although our Tolman Collection gallery has been open through thick and thin - as people like to say - all during the present dangerous health conditions when even those clients who have really wanted to have a look at what is happening in Japanese art to add to their collections to spruce up their homes and offices out to see, the number of art lovers and various other clientele dropping in at our gallery reached a new low. Clients felt unable to “drop-in” and we could not properly present a selection of our always popular prints and paintings to exhibit for clients' pleasure and purchase.
Now with the situation changing, the Tokyo American Club has kindly offered us a rather large space in their next showing at the Tokyo American Club which will afford us, in generous space, the room to show you the pieces that you have missed over these long months. On April 10 and 11 (Sunday and Monday) we will be showing a wide selection of framed and unframed works by our usual sparkling artists whose works have kept our clients satisfied for years. Sunday will be reserved for members of the American Club only, from 5 - 8. And on Monday the general public will be invited as well from 10 - 7.
Now there is the time and space to look around and find out what is happening in Japanese art these days, it is a chance to see what you have missed. All the members of The Tolman Collection will be present on both days and our gallery will be closed.. In addition to myself, Eiji, Daisuke, Kiyo, Shin, and Mr.Go will all be at your service.
In addition to our usual artists, we will offer selected pieces by Saito Kiyoshi, Mori Yoshitoshi, Shinoda Toko, Clifton Karhu, Daniel Kelly.
